Prime Racing is a company made from necessity. It all started out when myself and some new racers met at a slot car track in Franklin Square, NY(Franklin Square Raceway) over 20 years ago. We became close friends and started racing together on a weekly basis. We were serious people with a mission! Slowly but surely I began to gather the equipment needed to repair our own cars. Like most serious Slot Car Racers we wanted our reconditioning back as soon as possible and we wanted it perfect! In order to accomplish that we started doing it ourselves. So we know what you want and expect from your reconditioning company and we promise to give you the beast service in the least amount of time.

We first developed a crude Magnet Zapper which has since melted down so we then replaced it with a state of the art Zapper. We then produced an ultra sonic cleaner to clean our arms and chassis and what ever else fits in it.

Then I researched Balancing! I came up with a company, which does ultra precision and delicate balancing for several aerospace firms. I developed a working relationship with them and soon enough they were doing all of our balancing. The word spread like wild fire of the Precision Balancing being done for us. I started getting armatures from racers from all over the country. This machine is specifically designed to do Micro Balancing. It has a DUAL PLANE SENSOR with DIGITAL READOUT to give the lowest possible tolerance for these miniature armatures on both planes at the same time. Much more accurate than analog-needle type gauge machines being used for Slot Car Armature Balancing. Of course a machine is only as good as its operators. At Prime Racing there is one and only one person to operate the Balancing machine, that is me.

But that was the beginning! Out of necessity we have developed a line of HIGH PERFORMANCE SLOT CAR PRODUCTS originally designed for our use. We only made it available to all racers through out the world after we were convinced that they gave us that leading edge and Won or TQ'ed with them numerous times --(USRA sanctioned races) we do want to keep it fair and competitive or else why bother racing.
